I believe that this world has developed in a way that we are very busy all the time, we work in excess, we are always surrounded by a lot of information and time goes very fast. But in these busy lives we must learn to stop, relax, enjoy as a family, reconnect with our children, our partners, the nature and with ourselves.
I have written books with instructive workshops perfectly designed to be fun and help families to connect again. Because with the appropriate tools and techniques, everything is possible. In this books I create awareness about conscious and positive parenting, emotional self-control, personal acceptance and inclusion.
For children to have a better quality of life, it is important to provide support, both directly to them and also to the surrounding adults, with whom everything begins.
For that purpose, we develop right positive emotional well-being tools and techniques, and for the little ones we facilitate spaces where they can express themselves and their emotions, while learning in a fun way about these topics.
Discover my books for you to make with your family, classroom, or with your partner. Because everything starts with kind communication and opening the space in our lives to share with others while we learn in a very fun way.
BIOGRAPHY OF CAROLINA BONNETT
Carolina is a Colombian mother of two, happily married for more than seventeen years. Her life has been shaped by the richness of different cultures, as her husband’s work as an expatriate in multinational companies has taken their family to live in several countries with diverse cultural backgrounds.
She grew up in Colombia and, at the age of twenty-nine, moved to Switzerland with her husband, where their first child was born. After three years in Switzerland, they spent four years in the Philippines—where their daughter was born—followed by two years in Mexico, and finally settled in Germany, where they have lived for more than seven years.
Although this international journey has been an extraordinary experience, it has also brought emotional and family challenges: adapting to new languages, traditions, schedules, and social relationships. To help her children navigate these transitions, Carolina immersed herself in reading and studying topics related to education, emotional well-being, and interpersonal relationships. She soon discovered that traditional discipline methods only created resistance and frustration. Everything changed when she encountered the Positive Philosophy, which transformed her family life in remarkable ways. Inspired by this, she dedicated herself to studying the approach and earning certifications in related fields.
For more than seven years, she has worked with families and schools in Luxembourg and other countries, guiding them toward healthier relationships and greater emotional balance. Along this path, she met Alba Lucía Grillo, an exceptional educator with thirty-five years of experience in Early Childhood Education, whose passion for teaching deeply inspired Carolina. Their shared vision—that education is the foundation of a more compassionate society—led them to collaborate closely on projects aimed at strengthening families and children.
Carolina also pursued further training, becoming certified in Inclusive Education, Child Psychology, and Positive Psychology the latter at Harvard University. Her professional path has been enriched by personal experiences as well: her nephew Juan, a young man with autism, has been a source of inspiration and learning for her entire family, opening doors to deeper understanding of inclusion and emotional growth.
With a background in graphic design, Carolina was also able to illustrate, design, and shape this book with creativity and care. Her entrepreneurial spirit, inherited from her mother—a resilient and determined woman—has given her the strength to transform challenges into opportunities and to pursue her dreams with perseverance.
This book is the result of years of study, personal experience, and collaborative work. It offers practical tools, exercises, inclusive resources, and reflections designed to support families and classrooms during challenging moments, bringing light and hope where it is most needed.
Special acknowledgments go to Dr. Manuela Correa, Child Speech Therapist (Universidad María Cano, Medellín); to Nora Elena Yepes, whose strength and wisdom despite visual disability have been invaluable; and to Dr. María Victoria Grillo, Psychologist and Psychoanalyst (Universidad de Antioquia), for her more than forty years of professional dedication.
Above all, her work is lovingly dedicated to her husband, Carlos Andrés Sánchez, and their children, Ana Isabel and Juan José, whose unconditional support has made this dream come true.
